Sunset through the broken ice

It's that time of the year again, when I can pull large chunks of ice out of the lake.
I broke this one into pieces and piled it up on shore at sundown.
The sun peeks through as it sets on another perfect Spring day...and it isn't even Spring yet.


Even Polar Bears know it's not safe on the ice.
