The Campaign of Whispers

               April 27 2007 was the first time I heard the disgusting allegations against me. The Geniole family, who formerly lived at 39 Highcastle, sent the police to my house to investigate their claim that I was “Looking at Children in the Park”.
             The police spoke with me for a short time and were convinced that these allegations were groundless.(or so I THOUGHT at the time)
              I have had disputes with The Geniole family before. Unable to attack me with claims to the police, they started to spread the rumour that I was a “Child Molester”. I think they should be investigated for Criminal Mischief.
               The second time the police were summoned to investigate me for being a “Suspicious Person”. I had been seen in the PUBLIC park, sitting on a bench, making a phone call. The school was empty, it was 8:30 in the morning. This, according to the York Catholic District School Board required police action. WHY?
I told the police what had transpired previously, and expressed a desire to clear things up with the Principal of St. Thomas. I asked Principal Frances Daly-Hutchinson "What was so suspicious about my actions" She claimed there were complaints from “ other schools”.
               After a number of conversations with John Malloy, the Supt. Of Public Schools, he informed me that the student who had brought me to the attention of the “other school” (there was ONLY one other school, yet another lie Fran Daly told) had transferred from St. Thomas Aquinas.
              The Principal from the “other school” phoned Frances Daly- Hutchinson to inquire about the rumour of a predator. Satisfied that there was no cause for concern, Principal Paul DaSousa decided no more action was necessary.
                After my visit, Principal Fran Daly- Hutchinson, however, felt a letter combining the statement that the Police determined that there was no cause for concern, with a list of Safety tips for Students, was the best course of action.
                This ambiguous letter was sent out to the parents, some of  whom misinterpreted the letter. This letter was used by some as “evidence” of my wrongdoing. My next door neighbour was shown the letter by one of these confused people, and told that I, their neighbour was a Child Molester. When I spoke to Fran Daly-Hutchinson about this, she refused to send out a letter  to clear up the confusion. I tried to convince her bosses, Supt. Francis Bagley(who later denied knowledge of the letter), Chris Cable and other officials from the YCDSB and was treated to my third visit by the police. The York Catholic District School Board began to threaten me with registered letters stating that I would be charged with trespassing, and fined “Up to $5000.” They claimed that I was harassing THEM. UNBELEIVABLE.
I sure wish I had Taxpayers money to waste on Lawyers & registered letters, but as an INNOCENT man, I’m not even entitled to Legal Aid. All I want is to clear my name of these AWFUL allegations. I have been called a Child Molester, children have asked me if I was “the Raper”. Children walk into traffic rather than walk on the sidewalk, when I walk down the street. This is DANGEROUS. When you’re running from the ‘Boogieman’ you might not watch out for the CARS. Adults too have been duped by this FALSE RUMOUR, and I fear that someone will decide to take the law into their own hands. I have done NOTHING wrong. How much more am I to be made to SUFFER? Where is the “Accountability” that Dalton McGuinty spoke of, in the last election? It seems to me that the YCDSB thinks that they are a law unto themselves. The safety of Children and the Destruction of Innocent lives doesn’t phase them. Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for this OUTRAGEOUS misuse of power? It’s a SMEAR CAMPAIGN.
              Why can’t they do the right thing and PUBLICLY admit they were WRONG?

Abolish PUBLIC funding of Religious Schools.
Separate Church and State.
