"Ho ho ho, I'm Santa Claus."


So...after the spectacular dinner we had at Uncle Hank's 90th birthday party, this little cutie's mom was washing dishes.
Between the two of them, someone decided a dish-soap foam beard was in order.

There are some things that never grow old, stuff you never tire of doing....

For me, juggling and sleight of hand are like that. I love to show kids the disappearing coin trick.
On this day, it was a pebble that I used.
After performing the trick, I showed her how it was done...because I'm NOT a magician, and I like sharing these little amusements of mine.
Once we established it was trickery and where the pebble was ACTUALLY going (my other hand), then we get on to the 'two-hand monty' game...
Choose a hand, which one do YOU think has the pebble?
I've gotten quite proficient at having it in either hand without letting on where it's gone, although my ability to make it go up my sleeve still needs practice.

Then we went on to juggling, which I also demystify, so that any idiot can do it if they try. (I know, because this idiot learned)
Nothing beats seeing the amazement of a child, it gives me great joy to bring great joy.

Simple pleasures....
