Too big for their britches

These double daffodil blossoms are very large and lovely.
So large, in fact, that they bend under their own weight, and usually end up bent and dirty if left.
Consequently, they make terrific cut flowers, give them a little support, some water, and they look beautiful for days.
I harvest them when the first bend happens, these flowers get used for photography, but then they're put under the canopy in our back garden, where my mother likes to read and do her crosswords.
Today they are resting on one painting, while another serves as background.
Bubble Wrap....that's what I used to paint with.
Almost as fun as popping it...almost.
