No doll parts, to throw the background out of focus, and into Bokeh. [link] like in the linked pic.
Altered in editing, but essentially the same. Vegetable Oil, with food colouring in it, on the surface of the dark waters of the Maskinonge River. You can see the small spheres of food colouring encased in oil. Like a picture of a galaxy, a universe...worlds within worlds. This is art, if you don't think it is, go enjoy a very expensive Rothko painting. |

Search 'bokeh'...awesome stuff.
They use this in film too, quite often, slowly switching the focus from the foreground to the back, or vice versa.
You'll see what I mean when you see some really good examples of it.
I'm obsessed with making good bokeh.
