Many people in this neighbourhood don't KNOW this, but it is NOT our RESPONSIBILITY to maintain the boulevard in front of our houses.
If we CHOSE, we could leave it to nature, to let the grass die, and the weeds, and trees flourish in its stead.
If you did this, the town would have NO CHOICE but to clean any sight line and safety issues THEMSELVES.

THIS is what is so REPUGNANT about the way the town handled this issue in MY case.
Yesss....This is another journal about the boulevard, and the way I am going to replace the grass with a variety of ground cover.
The town bureaucrats thought they could BULLY me into taking away the ground cover I have started to grow, and replace it with "top soil and sod", despite NO LAW that supports their ORDERS.
I refused, and had to explain to THREE Bureaucrats who are PAID by TAX DOLLARS, that they didn't have a LEGAL LEG to STAND on.
WHY is it, that these people, who are PAID to enforce laws, are NOT familiar with them?
If I didn't know how to do MY job, I would expect to be PUNISHED, by my BOSS.
In this case, the boss is US.
To that end, I am going to list the geniuses who wasted our money pursuing something that's out of their authority.

Len Wight, Roads Foreperson
Barb Antic, Civil Technician
Robert Fortier, Operations Manager
Ross Jamieson, Ward Councillor
and last, and perhaps the most EGREGIOUS of the bunch
Tushar Patel C.E.T, Civil Technician, who not only made ACCUSATION after ACCUSATION, but was the AUTHOR of the letter that was the BIGGEST waste of our MONEY, and our TIME.

I am going to call the town of Georgina today...AGAIN....to inquire into whether Tushar Patel has been PUNISHED for his acting above, and beyond the LAW, and his authority, and his countless false accusations.

Perhaps the TOWN should try adhering to the law as well....
